Tomorrow night we’re having a refashion show for Relief Society. It’s going to be a lot of fun. I just need to get these “before” pictures online so I can show them tomorrow.
I got as much as I could for $20 at the thrift store. I gave some friends the clothes to refashion. I can’t wait to see how their projects turned out.
This is what $20 spent at the thrift store looks like:
…and not pictured are a pair of fuzzy brown children’s pants with a tail, and a men’s size 4XL charcoal colored tee shirt.
Want a little spoiler? The nightgown pictured above was my project. I thought it was cool that it had the original price tags on it.
Anyway, I refashioned it into a skirt.
I love the flounce at the bottom.
I also really like the shirred waistband.
Want to know my favorite thing about this skirt? It’s wrinkle free and so, so, SO comfortable!
